schnellwüchsiger, laubabwerfender Baum bis ca. 12 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, ca. 60 cm langen, unpaarig gefiederten Bättern, bestehend aus bis 19 kleinen, ca. 10 cm langen, lanzettlichen, glänzend tiefgrünen Fiederblättchen. Die kleinen, duftenden, weißlichen Blüten erscheinen in ca. 40 cm langen endständigen Rispen, die nach Neuaustrieb des Laubes erscheinen, gefolgt von eßbaren, bis zu 10 cm apfelgroßen, eiförmigen bis ovalen, bei Reife goldgelben Steinfrüchten mit ananas-mangoähnlichem Geschmack

Alternative: in a zip bag with damp coir or vermiculite on a heat source > until germination takes place

Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet

Irrigation: in the growing season richly water
Fertilization: wöchentlich 0,1%ig oder Langzeitdünger
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei mind. 15-20°C + konstant leicht feucht halten
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare können bei ca. 5-10ºC gehalten werden und in der laublosen Zeit der Umgebungstemperatur entsprechend nur sporadisch soviel gießen, daß der Wurzelballen nicht austrocknet.
