laubabwerfender, kleiner, vielverzweigter, dorniger Strauch bis zu 2 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, doppelt gefiederten Blättern, bestehend aus paarig angeordneten, kleinen, länglich ovalen, tiefgrünen Blättchen. Die intensiv duftenden, purpurfarbenen, mit zunehmendem Alter über pink nach weiß blühenden, zylindrischen Blütenähren erscheinen in den Blattachseln

Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: cactus or potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei ca. 10-15°C + konstant leicht feucht halten
Overwintering: Older specimens bright or dark at about 5-10°C and according to ambient temperature in larger intervals and only to water in small amounts that the root ball not dries out completely. Temperatures around freezing point are well tolerated.
