immergrüner oder auch laubabwerfender mittelgroßer bis großer Baum von ca. 10-20 m mit ausladender, dichter, runder Krone und glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern, zusammengesetzt aus bis zu 6-paarigen Blättchen mit bronzefarbenem Neuaustrieb. Die leuchtend dunkelroten Blüten mit herausragenden Staubgefäßen erscheinen in Trauben direkt am Holz

Germination Temperature: ca. 22-25°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 2-4 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season richly water
Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 15-20°C + keep constant slightly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 5-10°C and according to ambient temperature just so much water that the root ball not dries out completely.
Note: Temperatures are up to -5° C will be tolerated for a short time without taking damage!
