immergrüner bis laubabwerfender Strauch oder Baum bis zu 15 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, gestielten, ca. 15 cm langen und 10 cm breiten, breit-eiförmigen, sattgrünen Blättern. Die bis zu 7 cm großen, trompetenförmigen, weißen Blüten mit goldgelbem Schlund erscheinen in dichten Büscheln am Ende der Triebe. Aus den Blüten entwickeln sich bei Reife hellbraune oder auch rosafarbene Früchte mit durchsichtigem, süßem Fruchtfleisch

Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 25°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 3-6 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season moderate water
Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + 2/3 sand, fine gravel or perlite
Culture: hell bei ca. 10-15°C + konstant leicht feucht halten
Overwintering: Older specimens bright or dark at approx. 10-15°C, and according to ambient temperature to water only in larger intervals and in small quantities that the root ball not dries out completely. Temperatures around freezing point are well tolerated.
Note: drought-tolerant!
