mehrjähriger, ab Herbst einziehender, kleiner, dorniger Strauch mit wechselständig angeordneten, doppelt gefiederten, tiefgrünen Blättern, die sich aus zahlreichen, länglich ovalen, tiefgrünen Fiederblättchen zusammensetzen. Die langgestielten Blütenköpfe bestehen aus kleinen, röhrenförmigen, pink- bis lavendelfarbenen Blüten mit unzähligen, langen, pinkfarbenen Staubfäden und goldgelben Staubbeuteln

Fertilization: biweekly 0,1%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + 2/3 sand or 2/3 aquarium gravel
Culture: ca. 1-2 years bright or dark at about 0-5°C in unheated greenhouse + keep slightly moist only
Overwintering: After this time period, older specimens can be to planted in mild regions outdoors in a sunny, sheltered site. In unfavorable locations, winter protection is recommended.
