Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:

immergrüner Strauch oder kleiner Baum bis zu 8 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, gestielten, bis zu 60 cm langen, lanzettlichen, tiefgrünen, unterseits gräulich bereiften Blättern mit gesägten Blatträndern und ausgeprägter Nervatur, die spiralförmig am Zweigende erscheinen. Die weißen Blüten mit sternförmig angeordneten Petalen erscheinen direkt am Stamm (Kauliflorie) und älteren Ästen (Ramiflorie) in den Blattachseln, männliche in kleinen Büscheln, weibliche erscheinen in Einzelblüten, gefolgt von gestielten, bei Reife gelben oder roten, seltener weißen, ca. 7 cm großen, längs geflügelten Fruchtkapseln. die direkt am Stamm (Kauliflorie) erscheinen

Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet

Fertilization: monthly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: slightly acid substrate (pH 5,5 - 6,5) + sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei ca. 20-25°C + konstant feucht halten + hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 15-20°C and according to ambient temperature keep constant slighly moist. Waterlogging will be tolerated for a short time!
Note: Zimmerkultur mit entsprechend hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit ist möglich!
