immergrüner, hoher Baum bis zu 25 m mit ausladender, buschiger Krone und wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 15 cm langen und 5 cm breiten, ledrigen, länglich ovalen, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern mit auslaufender Spitze. Die weißen Blüten erscheinen in den Blattachseln. Aus den Blüten entwickeln sich eßbare, runde, bis zu 2 cm ø große Früchte
