vielverzweigter, in der Trockenzeit laubabwerfender, oftmals auch mehrstämmiger Baum bis zu 8 m mit papierartiger Rinde und gegenständig angeordneten, unpaarig gefiederten, tiefgrünen Blättern mit gekerbten Blatträndern und einem endständigen Blatt. Der Neuaustrieb ist flaumig behaart. Die gestielten, kleinen sternförmigen, gelblich-weißen Blüten erscheinen in Trauben in den Blattachseln
