zwiebelbildende, laubabwerfende Pflanze bis zu 50 cm mit grundständig angeordneten, langen, schmalen, tiefgrünen Blättern. Die irisähnlichen, von hell- über dunkelblau bis lilafarbenen Blüten mit blau-weißer Zeichnung im Zentrum erscheinen an aufrechten Stengeln

Propagation:	Seeds/Bulbs
Sowing Time:	all year round > spring preferred
Sowing Deep:	cover only slightly with substrate
Sowing Mix:	Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature:	ca. 10-20°C
Location:	bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time:	ca. 4-6 weeks
Irrigation:	in the growing season moderate water + let dry between watering
Fertilization:	monthly 0,1%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests:	Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate:	potting soil + 2/3 sand, gravel or perlite
Culture:	ca. 2-3 years bright at approx. 5-10ºC in unheated greennhouse + keep only slightly moist
Overwintering:	Older specimens can be planted after this time period in a sheltered, sunny position, good drainage and thick mulch layer outdoors.
