laubabwerfender Baum bis zu 15 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, langgestielten, 3-5 gelappten, ca. 40 cm breiten, blaugrünen, zart behaarten Blättern und duftenden, glockenförmigen, zart rosa bis hellblauen Blüten mit weißem oder cremefarben gezeichnetem Schlund in endständigen, bis zu 40 cm hohen aufrechten, vielverzweigten Blütenständen
Wissenswertes: Eine Züchtung aus Paulownia tomentosa und Paulownia fortunei, resistent gegen Insektenbefall und Fäulnis und hoher Trockentoleranz.
Verwendung: Dieses Edelholz ist sehr gut geeignet zum Anpflanzen von Plantagen für die Energieerzeugung, zum Bau von Möbeln und Musikinstrumenten, sowie für den Schiffsbau.
