Der Neuaustrieb ist kupferfarben bis rötlich. Die duftenden, bis zu 1,3 cm großen, weißen Blüten mit gekräuselten Blütenblättern und herausragenden Staubgefäßen erscheinen in endständigen, dichten Rispen
