laubabwerfender Strauch oder ausladender, oftmals mehrstämmiger Baum bis zu 6, seltener bis zu 20 m, mit wechselständig angeordneten bis zu 15 cm langen Blättern, die sich aus 25-55 paarig angeordneten, ca. 1,6 cm langen und 0,8 cm breiten, breit elliptischen, ovalen oder verkehrt eiförmigen, gefiederten, tiefgrünen Blättchen zusammensetzen. Die leuchtend gelben bis hellgelben, glockenförmigen Blüten erscheinen in bis zu 11-blütigen, dichten Büscheln in kurzgestielten, herabhängenden Trauben in den Blattachseln

Culture: in the 1st year bright at approx. 5-10ºC in unheated greennhouse + keep slightly moist only
Overwintering: Older specimens bright or dark at approx. 0-5°C and only in larger intervals and small quantities so much water that the root ball not dries out completely.
