Die einseitig oder auch kreisförmig angeordneten Blüten bestehen aus dunkelroten Bündeln unzähliger Staubfäden und erschenen in bis zu 20 cm langen Ähren am ausgereiften Holz

Germination Temperature: ca. 20-25°C

Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei ca. 10-15ºC + konstant leicht feucht halten
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare hell bei ca. 5-10ºC und nur soviel gießen, daß der Wurzelballen nicht völlig austrocknet. Temperaturen um dern Gefrierpunkt werden durchaus vertragen.
Note: drought-tolerant!
