mehrjährige, kleine Zwiebelpflanze mit nur 2 gegenständig angeordneten, leicht überlappenden, großen, langen, niederliegenden, ledrigen, glänzend mittelgrünen Blättern mit Längsrillen. Der grundständige Blütenstand besteht aus zahlreichen gelb-orangefarbenen Blüten
