immergrüner Strauch oder kleiner Baum bis ca. 8 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 15 cm langen und 0,4 cm breiten, linealischen, tiefgrünen Phyllodien. Die süßlich duftenden, kugelförmigen, strahlend zitronengelben Blüten erscheinen in vielblütigen, dichten, kurzen Rispen am Ende der Zweige. Durch das Gewicht der übermäßig zahlreichen Blüten hängen die Zweige über!
