Dear plant and garden enthusiasts,
Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:
Our shop will remain open until September 30, 2026.
The last day to place an order is September 25, 2026. Please feel free to use this time to secure your favorite seeds one last time.
Processing: All paid orders received by September 25, 2026, will, of course, be processed, packed, and shipped reliably as usual.

immergrüner, hoher, verzweigter Baum bis zu 25 m (am Naturstandort bis zu 40 m) mit bis zu 2 m ø, dickem, bedorntem Stamm und wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 29 cm langen und 17 cm breit ovalen, an der Basis herzförmigen, oberseits glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern mit lang auslaufender Spitze, ausgeprägter, heller Nervatur und grob gesägten Blatträndern an bis zu 20 cm langen Stielen. Die männlichen Blüten erscheinen in dichten rotbraunen Ähren, die weiblichen, schirmförmigen, zart orangefarbenen Blüten mit rotem Zentrum besitzen keine Petalen und erscheinen einzeln in den Blattachseln, gefolgt von großen, rundlichen, in vielen Kammern unterteilten Fruchtständen, die die großen, flachen Samen enthalten und bei Reife explosionsartig aus den jeweiligen Kammern schießen
