Die langgestielten, je nach Art hellviolettfarbenen, dunkelroten oder grünlichen Blüten sitzen in endständigen oder achselständigen lockeren Rispen, gefolgt von runden oder ovalen, 5 bis 13 cm großen, eßbaren Früchten mit holziger Schale
