laubabwerfender, zweihäusiger Baum bis zu 30 m mit zunächst säulenförmigem Wuchs, später mit ausladender Krone und wechselständig angeodneten, bis zu 8 cm breiten, gestielten, fächerförmigen, mittel- bis gelbgrünen Blättern mit attraktiver, goldgelber Herbstfärbung. Die männlichen, gelben Blüten erscheinen in bis zu 8 cm langen, hängenden Büscheln, während die weiblichen Blüten nur einzeln erscheinen, aus denen sich kleine, pflaumengroße Früchte mit essbaren Samen entwickeln und einen unangenehmen Duft verströmen

Alternative: in a zip bag with perlite or vermiculite
Germination Temperature: ca. 20-25°C

Germination Time: ca. 4-6 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season regularly water
Fertilization: monthly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: ca. 2-3 Jahre hell oder dunkel bei ca. 0-5ºC + konstant leicht feucht halten
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare können ins Freiland gepflanzt werden.
