mehrjähriger, kleiner, ausladender Halbstrauch bis ca. 2 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, drei zusammengesetzten gefiederten Blättern, bestehend aus bis zu 5 cm langen ovalen-lanzettlichen, bläulich-grünen Blättchen. Die pink-violettfarbenen Blüten erscheinen in bis zu 60 cm langen herabhängenden Rispen in den Blattachseln
