Prächtiger Trompetenbaum, Northern Catalpa

laubabwerfender, ausladender Baum bis ca. 15 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, ca. 30 cm langen, tiefgrünen, herzförmigen, unterseits dicht behaarten Blättern. Die bis zu 6 cm großen weißen Blüten mit orangefarbenen Streifen und innen purpurfarbenen getupften Blüten erscheinen in bis zu 20 cm aufrechten Blütenständen
