Synonyme: Mimosa xylocarpa, Xylia kerrii, Xylia dolabriformis

laubabwerfender, hoher Baum bis zu 18 m und einem Stammdurchmesser von bis zu 60 cm, gegenständig angeordneten Blättern, die sich aus paarig angeordneten, ca. 4 cm langen Blättchen mit auslaufender Spitze und einem endständigen Blatt zusammensetzen. Die gestielten, kleinen, ca. 2 cm großen, weißen runden Blütenköpfe erscheinen in lockeren Büscheln in den Blattachseln. Aus den Blüten entwickeln sich ca. 16 cm lange Hülsen die wie ein Bumerang geformt sind

Irrigation: in the growing season richly water. Due to the natural site, in sandy coastal regions, depending on the tides will also tolerate waterlogging

Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei ca. 20-25°C + konstant feucht halten + hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare hell bei ca. 15-20°C und der Umgebungstemperatur entsprechend konstant feucht bis nass halten, niemals austrocknen lassen.
Note: Zimmerkultur mit entsprechend hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit ist möglich!
