laubabwerfender, kleiner, mehrstämmiger Strauch bis zu 1,5 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, kleinen silbrig-grünen, haarigen Blättern. Die süßlich duftenden, hängenden, glockenförmigen, creme-weiß-gelben Büten erscheinen in den Blattachseln, denen ovale bis kugelförmige, bei Reife strahlend rote Früchte folgen
