Synonyme: Rollinia herzogii

immergrüner oder laubabwerfender, kleiner Strauch bis zu 1,5 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, länglich-elliptischen, ledrigen, oberseits tiefgrünen, Blättern. Die gestielten, dickfleischigen, cremefarbenen Blüten erscheinen in den Blattachseln. Aus den Blüten entwickeln sich eßbare, gestielte, runzelige, bei Reife goldgelbe Früchte mit cremigem, süßem Fruchtfleisch.
Diese Art ist bisher noch nicht in Kultur!
