immergrüner, stark verzweigter Kletterstrauch bis zu 4 m mit kantigen, überhängenden Trieben und wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 9 cm langen nd 3 cm breiten, ovalen bis spatelförmigen, unterseits mit kleinen weißen Schuppen bedeckten Blättern. Die röhrenförigen, weißen Blüten enden mit 5 tellerförmig angeordneten Petalen und erscheinen in zahlreichen, dichten, endständigen Ähren
