Sowing Deep: Light germinator! Only sprinkle on the surface of the substrate + slightly press on
Sowing Mix: Coir, cactus soil or sowing mix + 2/3 sand or perlite
Alternative: pure sand
Germination Temperature: ca. 20-23°C (daytime) + night setback to 10°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 1-2 weeks

Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig with cactus fertilizer

Substrate: cactus or potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei mind. 10-15°C + konstant leicht feucht halten
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare bei ca. 5-10°C, und nur in größeren Abständen und kleinen Mengen gießen. Carpobrotus kann nur in sehr milden Gegenden mit gutem Winterschutz an einer trockenen Süd- oder Westwand ins Freiland gepflanzt werden.
