langsamwüchsiger, mehrjähriger, ausladender, immergrüner Strauch bis ca. 2 m mit wechselständig angeordneten Blättern, bestehend aus zwei kleinen, länglich ovalen bis elliptischen, dicken, wachsartigen, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättchen. Die ca. 2,5 cm großen, duftenden, 5-petaligen, strahlend gelben Blüten erscheinen vorwiegend am Ende der Triebe. Nach einem Regenschauer, wenn die Pflanzen noch feucht ist, verströmit diese Pflanzen einen äußerst angenehmen Duft!
