immergrüner Halbstrauch bis zu 3 m mit zart behaarten, dicht bestachelten, bis zu 60 cm langen und 45 cm breiten, großen, gelappten, tiefgrünen Blättern und violettfarbener Nervatur. Die duftenden, bis zu 3 cm großen, weißen Blüten erscheinen in achselständigen, kleinen Büscheln, aus denen sich runde, bei Reife orange-rote, eßbare Früchte entwickeln

Germination Temperature: ca. 25°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 3-6 weeks > irregular
Irrigation: in the growing season richly water
Fertilization: weekly 2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites, Aphids > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei ca. 15-20°C + konstant feucht halten
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 10°C, and just so much to water that the root ball not dries out completely.
Note: Only year round under glass (warm greenhouse) will be grow fruits!
