langsamwüchsiger, dicht verzweigter, immergrüner oder halbimmergrüner Baum bis ca. 6 m mit zickzackförmigen Zweigen und wechselständig angeordneten Blättern, bestehend aus bis zu 12 paarig angeordneten, länglich ovalen, tiefgrünen Blättchen. Die duftenden, röhrenförmigen, creme-weißen bis gelben Blüten mit herausragenden Staubfäden erscheinen in dichten Büscheln am Ende der Zweige
