kleiner, immergrüner Strauch bis ca. 4 m mit bräunlich schwarzer Rinde und gegenständig angeordneten, länglich ovalen bis lanzettlichen, tiefgrünen Blättern. Die intensiv duftenden, langgestielten, leuchtend weißen Blüten erscheinen in locker hängenden Dolden am Ende der Zweige
