laubabwerfender Baum bis zu 15 m mit ausladender, schirmförmiger Krone und wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 50 cm langen, doppelt gefiederten, tiefgrünen Blättern mit bis zu 15 Fiederpaaren. Die bis zu 15 cm großen gelben Schmetterlingsblüten mit weit nach oben gebogenen gelben Staubfäden erscheinen in lockeren Büscheln am Zweigende. Jede einzelne Blüte weist ein Blütenblatt mit einer gelb/weißen Färbung auf
