Die bis zu 5 cm ø großen, pink-roten, 6-petaligen Blüten erscheinen einzeln in den Blattachseln, denen bis zu 4 cm lange, eßbare, pinkfarbene bis rote Früchte, bestehend aus mehreren Teilfrüchten (Mericarps) folgen
