immergrüner, kleiner Strauch bis zu 4 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, ca. 12 cm langen und 2 cm breiten, schmal-lanzettlichen, tiefgrünen Blättern. Die bis zu 3 cm großen, leuchtend gelben, 4-petaligen Blüten mit rotem Zentrum erscheinen in den Blattachseln

Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet

Fertilization: monthly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: in the 1st year bright at approx. 10ºC in unheated greennhouse + keep slightly moist only
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 5-10°C and just in larger intervals and small quantities so much to water that the root ball not dries out completely.
Note: drought-tolerant!
