immergrüner, dichtbelaubter, rundlicher Strauch bis zu 4 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 10 cm langen und 1 cm breiten, linealen bis ovalen, tiefgrünen Blättern. Die aufrecht sitzenden, runden Blütenstände, bestehend aus röhrenförmigen, cremefarbenen Einzelblüten mit herausragenden Griffeln, erscheinen in den Blattachseln
